10:00 to 11:15 - Haute Goat, north of Port Hope, offers the chance to hug (they term it "shmurgle") an alpaca or a goat (in June/July there are babies). Before you leave, visit their retail shop for products made from goat milk including cheese, fudge, popcorn and hand creams. You can also enjoy lunch or a snack at the Screaming Goat Café.
12:00 to 1:30 - Head Eastbound on County Road 74 and County Road 2, through Cobourg to Grafton where you'll find Ste. Anne's Bakery. Stop in for a delicious gluten-free lunch and take some treats for the road.
1:30 to 2:00 - Get ready for more beautiful views on County Rd 23 and County Rd 25 which take you into the community of Warkworth.
2:00 to 2:30 - Just before you get to Warkworth, on the east side you'll find Robin's Nest Farm Market. This quaint store is filled with jams, honey, maple syrup, crafts, pies, bread and meat.
3:30 - Depart southbound on County Road 30 into Brighton and then along Heritage Highway County Road 2 for a rural drive alongside farmers' fields. Take the opportunity to visit farm stands.
