Stop by the farm store that’s part of the de Leeuw’s 108 acres (44 ha) off Hwy. 2, between Colborne and Grafton. You’ll find many varieties of Fall apples here, plus fudge and homemade preserves.

Come pick up local fresh produce from a family farm that’s been supplying fresh produce for 30 years. Cheer Farms offers pies, pastries, breads – all made from scratch with an emphasis on fresh, natural ingredients. Take home an apple pie, apple crisp or a candy apple made from Cheer’s own produce.

Stop at this Cobourg area market for fresh apples, vegetables and farm stand treats. Much of the market’s produce is grown on this sixth-generation family farm. You can pick up preserves and cheeses. Or take home some fresh baked goods, including award-winning butter tarts.

Since the late 1990s, the Glover Family has been offering both amazing produce and beef through their market store. The freezer is stocked with their own Black Angus beef, as well as with smoked bone-in ham and prime rib roast. Savoury quiches and fun, special occasion cookies have also made Glover’s a go-to on any drive within Trent Hills.

 Rutherford's Farm & Roadside Market

Started as a small apple stand at the end of the driveway, Rutherford’s family farm now houses a market building, bakery and large greenhouse. Dave Rutherford’s own fresh produce for Fall includes apples (apple cider too), pears, tomatoes, broccoli, peppers, brussel sprouts, corn, and even a few prize pumpkins.

A great place for PYO (Pick Your Own) or pre-picked apples. Pieter’s is busy harvesting more than 30 varieties of apples from August to late October. You can also get 100% apple chips, gourmet apple cider and cider vinegar, plus jams, jellies and relishes from Pieter’s own country store.

This 8-acre (3.2-ha) apple orchard has a really wide selection of apples varieties, either in their farm stand store as or as Pick Your Own (PYO). They also offer PYO Fall raspberries. Check their Twitter feed here to get an idea of hours and what’s available.

Corn Mazes & Pumpkin Patches

Wind your way through a gigantic puzzle made of corn – or roll up your sleeves in a pumpkin patch.

 Burnham Family Farm Market

Some-bunny has found the corn maze this year. This year’s Burnham maze is open from 9:00 am - 5:30 pm until Oct. 31 (closed Sept. 4 and Oct. 10).  Cricklewood Farm

Cricklewood Farm has reduced the size of its corn maze to one acre – and will no longer be charging admission to go through the maze.  Instead, donations are accepted in support of the operating costs of the maze and in support of a local charity. Check here for Corn Maze hours.
