Here are some great places to take in the good life in the country.
Just northwest of Port Hope, Haute Goat offers lots of space to see and interact with farm animals.
Come to the farm to see the animals, walk the trails, enjoy a bite to eat, and shop for local goodies in Haute Goat’s farm shop. Cost to visit is pay what you can at the gate. To get up close and personal with the animals, check out their animal experiences like Goat Shmurgles or Alpaca Shuffles.
The Screaming Goat Café at Haute Goat offers a diverse menu of lunch and snack items, featuring local and seasonal food as much as possible. The Farm Shop has all sorts of unique products such as Goat Butter Caramel Corn and Goat Fudge – not to mention an array of goat cheeses.

PrimRose Donkey Sanctuary is the ideal spot to get close to these wonderful animals.
