Spring/Summer

  • Port Hope's Float Your Fanny Down The Ganny in April.
  • Warblers and Whimbrels Weekend, Presqu'ile Park in May.
  • Presqu'ile Park has a summer interpretive and young naturalist program in July and August (613) 475-4324
  • Downtown Cobourg Busker and Street Festival, June
  • Cobourg Highland Games June
  • Family Fishing Week is in July & February.
  • For Canada Day celebrations throughout the County check the calendar of events.
  • Cobourg Waterfront Festival July 1st weekend.
  • Campbellford Waterfront Festival, August 
  • Cobourg Sandcastle Festival, August

Fall/Winter

  • Fall Fairs in Port Hope, Roseneath, and Warkworth, check our calendar of events for dates.
  • Applefest Brighton in September.
  • Phantom Farm is a haunted barn located north of Cobourg, weekends in October.
  • "Hallowe'en Howl" with the Ganaraska Region Conservation Authority (GRCA) at Ganaraska Forest Centre.
  • Family Fishing Weekend over the Family Day holiday. Try fishing Rice Lake, hut rentals available from B.J. Tackle.
  • Children's shows held in November and December in Cobourg. Northumberland Players (905) 372-0577, (888) 811-0003 or Victoria Hall Concert Hall (905) 372-2210
  • Santa Claus parades check our calendar of events for dates.
  • Christmas Magic in Cobourg is a spectacular array of lights in Victoria Park. End of November-January.
  • Presqu'ile Park has a Winterfest Bird Workshop which offers tips on bird feeding, feeder construction, guided walks, great kids activities, and hot chocolate. For kids of all ages (Jan) (613) 475-4324
  • Presqu'ile Park also presents a Waterfowl Viewing Festival complete with telescope stations, a wood carving display, and children's activities, March (613) 475-4324
  • Warkworth Maple Syrup Festival in March.
